My New Year's resolution to write at least one word a day on this blog has been going well. My other resolutions will probably not be so successful.
One is to be kinder. Truth be told, under this happy go lucky, glass is half full, look on the bright side of tragedy exterior, I am a cynical, judgmental, snide remarker of others. Yes, even when I am alone, I think bad and unkind thoughts, very often involuntarily. I know this is wrong, but I can't help myself. Some know this side of me, but no one knows the extent. So now you, and only you, are privy.
But so far, so good.

ReplyDeleteAnd the second, I will join you on. I have a dark side, too. Sometimes I enjoy it and the humor that comes with, but, yeah, underneath it can be a bit much and I want to be kinder, too. Glad to be in good company.
